A look back at a successful Elmia Polymer 2026
The centrepiece of the exhibition booth was a BOY 35 E with integrated igus handling, which attracted a great deal of interest from visitors.
From 19 to 22 May 2026, BOY, together with its Swedish distribution partner AWI Maskin AB, showcased innovative injection moulding technology for the plastics industry at Elmia Polymer in Jönköping.
The centrepiece of the exhibition booth was a BOY 35 E with integrated igus handling, which attracted a great deal of interest from visitors. Many particularly appreciated the compact design and small footprint of the fully automated production cell, which was demonstrated live at the exhibition. The solution demonstrated how modern injection moulding can be combined with automation in a minimal footprint, which is highly attractive to companies looking to boost their productivity without expanding their production facilities. The demonstration also provided a clear picture of BOY’s focus on precision and cost-effective production.
Elmia Polymer is regarded as the most important trade fair for the plastics and polymers industry in Scandinavia and once again provided an excellent platform for engaging with existing and potential customers. There was considerable interest in the solutions on display, particularly in the areas of energy efficiency, automation and compact machine designs.
BOY and AWI Maskin AB therefore draw a thoroughly positive conclusion and would like to thank all visitors for the many interesting discussions and the lively professional exchange.
