Critical molding, especially medical products, require that you maintain your injection molding machines at all times in peak operating condition. Machine Calibration is one of the highly recommended maintenance procedures that help your injection molding machines maintain their high level of performance.
An experienced factory trained BOY service technician performs BOY’s state-of-the-art Calibration Service at a fixed labor rate plus travel costs and related expenses. A third party to ensure accuracy calibrates all equipment used. A calibration sticker is affixed to your machine and a calibration certificate is available upon request.
The Calibration Service includes:
- Temperature calibration or temperature deviation measurements.
- Pump volume calibration.
- Pump pressure calibration
- Backpressure calibration (Procan MD, CT, & ALPHA models).
- Injection pressure (Procan MD, CT, & ALPHA models)
- Screw speed volume (Procan MD, CT, & ALPHA models)
Machines without a microprocessor control cannot be calibrated. BOY can perform an Optimization Service to machines with solid-state controls that will restore your machine to OEM specifications. Please contact our Service Department for more details.
